In the long history of humankind (and animal kind, too) those who learned to collaborate and improvise most effectively have prevailed.

Ten years ago, when Mamu and Dreijer and I first set out to “defragment the game industry” (aka: Game. Better. Together) I could have never imagined what it would take to get as far as we have toward our mission.
Although we didn’t all arrive at this point together, we did come through it with an abiding respect for one another and our relationships still largely intact.

Few startups can go through what we have and still be able to say that. It’s one of the things I’m most proud of about this journey.
And now, 4.5M members later, we’re part of Player.me. The spirit of collaboration and improvisation is stronger than ever. It will need to be because we know we still have a long way to go.

I hope all of you will join us. Our new platform isn’t perfect. It never will be. But the willingness to strive toward that ideal is what will make this platform and this community the best that gaming has to offer.
I am not signing-off from Evolve *quite* yet. We have a few more exciting things to share over the next few months before Evolve says its final thank yous and see-you-on-the-other-sides. However, if I can impart *any* pearl of wisdom to this community and to anyone trying to take on the impossible, it’s to Never. Stop. Evolving. Thanks again. Talk soon.
